Baker Robbins WorkSmart Products

After deploying thousands of seats of document and email management products, lawyers and secretaries consistently asked for easier ways to accomplish the job of filing in a matter centric environment. We looked closely at the product direction of Autonomy iManage, at how users interacted with the existing software and we improved the user experience. We created our first WorkSmart product, FastFolders, nearly five years ago. FastFiler, our email filing assistant, is the most popular since it reduces the email filing process to a single mouse click. All WorkSmart products are sold and maintained as perpetual licensed software. We have industry standard support and maintenance agreements for these products.

FastFiler simplifies email and records management for Outlook and Autonomy iManage users. FastFiler captures email when it is created, with or without a matter-centric environment.

Baker Robbins & Company’s FastFolders instantly displays any folder associated with a workspace for a client or matter at the time you profile a document.  FastFolders is the fastest way to take advantage of matter-centric workspaces available in FileSite and DeskSite. 

Extender connects Microsoft Outlook, Autonomy iManage WorkSite and FileSite, electronic matter-based workspaces and web applications that support search parameters. Users never have to leave their inbox to access relevant data organized around a matter.


Baker Robbins Best Practice Tools
 
We keep migration and MCC deployment costs predictable and timely through our constant quest to encapsulate our best practices into our consulting tools. These tools are not user facing and do not require support and maintenance agreements. We support the tools as part of the engagement and train your team, in the case of the Matter Warehouse, in ongoing operation. Effectively you receive nearly five years of operational experience as part of the engagement.
 
Over many years of working with our iManage clients, the same issues consume substantial operational resources. The iManage OpKit simplifies iManage system administration by pushing tasks to the appropriate skill level.

Baker Robbins' Records Print Module (RPM) automates printing, collating and organizing matter documents and emails. Lawyers get their familiar client file with less staff dedicated to collecting.

Baker Robbins' Shamrock Suite provides the fastest data migration functionality in the industry. Our unique methodology and set of tools dramatically enhance and speed up the document migration process.

docTagger migrates documents and folder structures from file systems to Autonomy iManage WorkSite. Through a browser, docTagger enables teams to “tag” folders with metadata. Documents in these tagged folders are automatically profiled and migrated into the target Autonomy iManage library.

docImporter is an ad hoc  tool to import documents from Windows file shares and folders into Autonomy iManage WorkSite, including support for electronic workspaces. Built on Microsoft Excel, docImporter uses Autonomy iManage validation lists and is useful for user or departmental migrations. 
 

dmMerger consolidates, moves or archives profiles and documents between Autonomy iManage libraries. dmMerger can consolidate multiple libraries into a single library (e.g., for centralization efforts) and split libraries (e.g., for document and workspace archiving or performance scalability).
